As we work toward implementation of the new 2017 Decadal Survey, “Thriving on Our Changing Planet: A Decadal Strategy for Earth Observations from Space”, we are developing mechanisms for communicating progress with you, and for hearing any questions that you may have for our further consideration.
We invite you to join us for a Community Forum on May 10 at 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM EDT, so that we can give you an update on the approach, timing and opportunities to engage with this process. The in-person location will be NASA Headquarters, James Webb Auditorium, Washington, D.C. Webex and Telecom lines have also been arranged for those able to join virtually. See information at the end of this message.
The James Webb Auditorium space is limited and seating will be available on a first come first served basis. If you intend to attend in person please let Amy Treat know at mailto:Amy.A.Treat@nasa.gov no later than May 4. She will send you an email to confirm your attendance.
This is the first in a series of Community Forums planned to keep the Earth Science community in the loop as we develop specific approaches for implementing Decadal Survey’s recommendations.
