New Book Released : Remote Sensing of Land Cover and Land Use Changes in South and Southeast Asia
We are pleased to announce the release of two new volumes on Remote Sensing of Land Cover and Land Use Changes in South and Southeast Asia, edited by Krishna Prasad Vadrevu, Christopher Justice, and Garik Gutman.
Volume 1: Mapping and Monitoring focuses on the use of satellite remote sensing to track and map rapid land cover changes in the region using cutting-edge methodologies and case studies.
Volume 2: Impacts on the Environment explores how these land use changes affect food security, water resources, biodiversity, and climate, highlighting multidisciplinary approaches and advanced remote sensing techniques.
These volumes bring together contributions from the NASA-funded South/Southeast Asia Research Initiative (SARI) and regional collaborators, offering valuable insights for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers.
