The Cooperative Institute for Climate and Satellites (CICS)-NC is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Scholar to work in Asheville, NC to Support NC State University’s North Carolina Institute for Climate Studies (NCICS) and NOAA’s NCDC land surface temperature validation effort – validation of the Land SurfaceTemperature (LST) product derived from the Visible/Infrared imager Radiometric Suite (VIIRS) onboard NPOESS Preparatory Project (NPP) and Joint Polar Satellite System (JPSS) satellites for a 2-3 year period.
