Applied Remote Sensing Training

The ARSET program offers satellite remote sensing training that builds the skills to integrate NASA Earth Science data into an agency’s decision-making activities. Trainings are offered in air quality, climate, disaster, health, land, water resources, and wildfire management. Through online and in person training, ARSET has reached over 13,000 participants from 160 countries and more than 3,600 organizations worldwide. 

Through ARSET trainings, you can learn how to: 
     1. use NASA data for environmental management
     2. search and access NASA resources relevant to your needs
     3. visualize, interpret, and apply remote sensing data and imagery

Sad News : Key NEESPI scientist, Isaev Alexander Sergeevich, unexpectedly passed away

We are sorry to announce that Alexander Sergeevich Isaev passed away on August 30th, 2018. A distinguished academic and leader in Russian forestry. As part of the Gore Chernomyrdin Commission he developed collaboration with NASA scientists, he also played an important role in the development of the NEESPI program.

The Project Coordinator supports the overall management and coordination of the LCLUC Program. Responsibilities include keeping Principal Investigators (PIs) and project team members informed and engaged in the program, serving as their point of contact for the LCLUC-related activities; organizing international science team meetings and regional events; and managing communications such as webinars, newsletters, listservs, social media, and outreach materials.
