Discover Archive Digital Globe  Data

DG's Discover tool allows you to draw a shape on a map, enter a location name, or upload coordinates or a shape file to search for imagery of your area of interest. You can view existing coverage of your area of interest at: https://discover.digitalglobe.com. You will see a list of image scenes that cover some or all of your AOI, if coverage is available. You can also view browse images for any results listed.

Ag Data Commons

Ag Data Commons is an open access data repository by NMSU Library which is available at http://data.nal.usda.gov.
The Ag Data Commons provides access to a wide variety of open data relevant to agricultural research. It is centralized registry of data already of the web as well as a repository for new data being published for the first time. The Ag Data Common also includes resources from a wide range of research domains related to agriculture such as genomics, hydrology, sustainability, science and economic statistics. In alignment with federal guidelines to take away barriers to data access, Ag Data Commons allows anyone to access all published data without having an Ag Data Commons Account. If you are a credentialed researcher and receive USDA funding you are eligible to submit data to this repository.

The Department of Geographical Sciences at the University of Maryland, College Park, is seeking a Faculty Specialist to assist with ongoing projects on the various applications of Earth Observations (EO). The developer will be responsible for programming and satellite remote sensing support of the projects (NASA, NOAA, ESA…), including implementing algorithms for maintenance, processing and analysis of large volumes of geospatial This position is a 12-month (renewable), full-time exempt status.
