c. 2000 and c. 2010 Land Cover and Land Use for Kumasi, Ghana

Overview

Land cover maps and land use maps were created using high spatial resolution, commercial satellite imagery for Kumasi, Ghana for both c. 2000 and c. 2010. The land cover maps include the following classes: vegetation, impervious, soil, water, cloud, and cloud shadow. The land use maps include: residential, non-residential, undeveloped, water, cloud, and cloud shadow. These multi-date products were created in order to assess land cover and land use change (LCLUC) and its effect on demographic and quality of life factors.

DARTE Annual On-road CO2 Emissions on a 1-km Grid, Conterminous USA, 1980-2012

Dataset Creators: Conor Gately, Lucy Hutyra and Ian Sue Wing

This data set provides a 33-year, 1-km resolution inventory of annual on-road CO2 emissions for the conterminous United States based on roadway-level vehicle traffic data and state-specific emissions factors for multiple vehicle types on urban and rural roads as compiled in the Database of Road Transportation Emissions (DARTE). CO2 emissions from the on-road transportation sector are provided annually for 1980-2012 as a continuous surface at a spatial resolution of 1 km.
