c. 2000 and c. 2010 Regional Land Cover and Land Use for Southern Ghana
Land Cover and Land Use within southern Ghana was classified for c. 2000 and c 2010 using semi-automated techniques with dense time stacks of Landsat 7 ETM+ imagery and limited manual digitizing for two classes (commercial agriculture and mining). These data were created in order to understand the regional impacts of rural-to-urban migration in driving LCLU change. Temporal image composite products used as inputs to the semi-automated image classification process are also available. Any questions may be directed to Lloyd (Pete) Coulter at lcoulter@mail.sdsu.edu.
